The fear of abandonment is real for way too many people in this world.  This fear can develop from our experiences from birth to adulthood.  A father or mother leaving a child, friendships ending abruptly, marriages ending after 30 years, death of a beloved mentor.  There’s an infinite number of things that can trigger the fear of abandonment.  Including the fear of giving up on ourselves and our dreams.
