In June we celebrated Pride Month. To keep the party going, we touched base with a group we are so proud and appreciative of, 49ers Pride.

Pride is celebrated in June for a number of reasons. (1) to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, (2) to honor those members of the LGBTQ community who have been lost to hate crimes or HIV/ AIDS, and (3) to recognize all the ways that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have historically impacted the world.

In this episode we are joined by Christina Jefferson, Senior Director of Inclusion and Culture with the 49ers, and Nick Clarke, who manages Fan Engagement for the 49ers.
Nick's role includes overseeing the direction and execution of promoting for 49ers Pride. He is also responsible for Emma's Women of the Niner's events, and can be blamed for giving Bruce the microphone at the 49ers rally in Mexico City before we cooked up some Arizona Cardinals!!!
