Flow taps in with the boys to talk all things vinyl, his rise in marketing that helped him carve out an Instagram following of 147,000+ tuning in to see his vinyl collection and hearing records he loves. Chris details the journey in applying his job skills which lead him to the visibility and recognition from Usher, garnering him the opportunity to play the Usher concert after parties in Vegas. The boys also go on a deeper dive of djing breakdance battles and the impact the music has on the overall battle. Following that we talk formative years from raving in LA, almost dying at a foam party, and experiencing the best nightlife vibe in Tijuana at a young age. This week on the podcast is a boys only episode where Jupiter recounts the frightening moments of djing during a shooting in the club in Portland. Shortly after, we dive into a couple light hearted club stories to shift the mood including discussing the impact of early 2000s business casual fashion in nightclubs and the abundance of argyle and fedoras. We dive into the impact and hilarity of being one of the first people in the club at the start of the night and consider how it effects djs around the world when they have to pace themselves musically while entertaining that early evening crowd. We tap into Curt’s new project in pushing forward AI in the music industry, which absolutely blew our minds (you gotta listen to understand the full scope).
