  • In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Copenhagen, and many other towns of Denmark’s Zealand island, are caught in midst of violence and tensions caused by the War of the Rockers. In Denmark, the term ‘Rocker’ is commonly used to describe people who belonged to the lawless biker sub-cultures of the time. Niels is a part of that culture. Known as ‘the King of the Rockers’, Niels lives on a farm along with his two lovers. The things that happen behind the high walls and the barbed-wire fence of that farm are so terrible they are difficult to imagine, and hidden from public view. But after a man is killed in the Rocker’s fortress, intricate details of what has been going on there spill out to the public.
