  • Chi is a Vietnamese-British artist and designer, born in Ho Chi Minh City and raised in Vietnam, England, and Scotland. She was named after a mushroom by her family, hoping for her to have a peaceful life and a clear career vision. However, everything changed after she moved to the UK at the age of 12. There, she developed a deep interest in art and design, prompting her grandfather to ask, "So, you make propagandas for the state?"

    Recently, Chi left her job in London to spend time exploring East and Southeast Asia, aiming to reconnect with her roots and discover her next steps.

    In this 6th episode, Chi and I discussed her interest in art and design, her recent journey through Korea, China, Bhutan, Thailand, and Vietnam, and her upbringing in both Southeast Asia and the UK.
