  • On October 22, 2018, Lauren McCluskey was killed by her ex-boyfriend while on the phone with her mother. For the last ten days before her death, Lauren had been making reports to campus police about threats and attempts to lure her away from her dorm. Campus police did nothing except add to Lauren's victimization, and her death was entirely preventable by many systems of power. Research your counties parole office 2. Call the parole office and ask for the "duty officer" or the officer in charge that day 3. Report that you have knowledge of a person on supervision engaging in illegal or threatening activities 4. Take the name and number of the parole officer you just reported to and then call the police and make a report, noting that you've already informed the parole officer 5.
