  • In this episode I take you on a musical journey with Mpiwa Gwindi a 22-year-old Zimbabwean performing and recording artist, and instrumentalist. She started playing the marimba and shakers at 10 years old, mbira at 14, guitar at 17, and djembe at 20, all the while exploring, being enthralled by, and adding to the endless world of Afro-fusion, gospel, and world music through her live performances and original songs.

    We break down the African Music landscape and how she has navigated it this further as a young artist. She shares her accomplishments one being having created and performed a song for the World Food Forum at the United Nations as well as her growth struggles and hopes for the future.

    As a young creative she shades light into what space looks like and how one can grow from it.
