Aging and Hospitalizations

Given the growing proportion of the population, older individuals will make up an increasingly larger share of emergency department visits in the coming years. 

Armed with this information, what exactly do we need to know about visiting the hospital as an older adult or as an advocate for an old adult? Does Medicare cover all the costs? What are some of the myths surrounding hospitals and older adults.
