Busier than a state school hat rack at HQ at the moment! Fraser Island, Brad Cox's wedding at the president has been shot, we cover what's been happening around the traps the past week as it's been a while since a catchup on the couch. Cambo nearly lost his phone in attempts to take up the Raw Dogging a flight trend and Tom has a recipe for gravy in the works he reckons will blow the minds of the nation. Producer and editor of the show, massive nerd and the guy with the iron chin, Quinn Jackson, jumps across his desk and joins the boys on the couch to get interviewed for his guest episode. Quinn takes us through his childhood, growing up in the country town of Howlong, being an introverted child and going against the grain of rural living by being invested in an academic path instead of a sporting one. Quinn takes us through the transitional period of moving to Central Queensland to go to high school, being on the debating team and then getting his foot in the door in the hospitality scene after school, leading to experiences such as working in Mount Isa during the rodeo and witnessing Fred Brophy's for the first time. Quinn runs us through the lows he's experienced as well, including battling with the loss of a best mate and what it taught him to then the rollercoaster that was sending the email to Tom and Cam for the job. To wrap up, we cover the original call out that sparked the Podcast Royale, some of Quinn's media interests, starting a 3D printing business with his best mate and wrap up with a couple of ripper yarns from his life before sending it into the guest questions. Last week, we took our Utes for their first inaugural test run for five days of camping, four wheel driving and fishing at Fraser Island/K'gari and attempted to pull off our first ever podcast around a campfire, and pulled it off. Special guests Luke from LMT Alloy Tech and Breece from Whitty Adventures join us for a yarn to discuss our trip, visiting destinations such as Lake Mackenzie, Sandy Cape and Woody Point. Luke takes us through how he started LMT Alloy Tech, the best in the tray and canopy business and how our relationship began to create these utes. Breece fills us in on his journey with adventure content creation, and we all go through some ripper yarns on getting bogged during four wheel driving before wrapping up with the guest questions. Eating challenge extraordinaire and down to earth legend Jimmy Judge joins us for a yarn. Jimmy has quickly grown his social media platforms having a crack at eating challenges around the country during his seven days off on his 7/7 roster, with many of his videos going viral. We initially discuss what drove him to give the eating challenge game a crack followed by how he balances content creation and preparation for eating during his normal full time job. We chat what his most hectic challenge has been, what the human body must do to prepare for mammoth feeds, and his aspirations to continue smashing out content whilst travelling during his days off.
