  • Coming back to Christianity with Frances Pratt
    Jun 15 2024

In this episode of the podcast, we are joined by Frances Pratt, sharing her experience of coming back to Christianity after moving away from it when she left home, through exploring different paths during her 20's and 30's, and what inspired her to make the decision in her mid 40's to return to the church.

This is an interesting conversation, because while Frances made that decision, her husband did not (and they are still happily married).

Some of the points we talked about:

    • Communication and conversations with loved ones who share different beliefs and how it affects family dynamics
    • Delving into her personal journey back to Christianity after realising the significance of faith in her life and the desire to introduce her kids to Jesus and core Christian values.
    • Being part of a church community and personal growth and the importance of finding the right church community where one feels safe, connected, and spiritually nourished.
    • Embracing imperfections and acknowledging mistakes as part of the human experience, and what it is to know the unconditional love of God

I hope you enjoy this conversation.

  • A broader spiritual perspective with Cliff Ravenscraft
    May 18 2024

Cliff Ravenscraft, Master Business Strategy and Mindset Coach, Mentor, and Speaker with 55(!!) podcasts under his belt, joins us for this episode of the Always With Me podcast.

Delving into his religious and spiritual background, Cliff shares his transition from evangelical beliefs to a broader spiritual perspective, and the profound impact that the practice of meditation has had on his life.

We explore the deconstruction of institutionalised spiritual beliefs and the intersection of mindset and faith in personal and business growth.

Cliff talks about his daily meditation practice, which has led to moments of peace, joy, and mystical experiences, as well as making it easier to be with life's challenges, and how by being more present we can let go of past and future thoughts, and appreciate the present moment.

We also explore the concept of selfless service and how we can serve each other in many ways - whether in traditional ministry, coaching, through our work, or podcasting - the essence of service remains the same: to meet people where they are at and to encourage, inspire, and bring value.

  • Beginning with an introduction with Fiona Redding
    May 11 2024

In this short introductory episode, you'll get to meet me, Fiona Redding, the host of the Always With Me podcast, and discover how this show came about.

At it's essence, this show is about knowing we are never on our own.

We'll share the stories of the cracking opens, of the breaking points, of the abyss, of the journeys into the valley, the great unravelling's, the shattering of the illusion of who we thought we were, and the no choice but to let go of what we thought defined us, what we thought was important, or what made us successful - and what we discovered there - about finding peace in the present moment, and unconditional love and acceptance, wherever we are and whatever is going on in the world around.

Having open and vulnerable conversations with people who have the courage to step forward and share willingly, with an open heart, what they have discovered about faith, belief, hope, and love in the midst of the crisis, not on the other side of the valley, but in the valley.

And how these experiences that bring us to our knees become the making of us, humbling us, teaching us courage, surrender, patience, acceptance, forgiveness, compassion, deep and unconditional love, connection, and an absolute knowing of the truth that we are not on our own, and we never have been, with a deep desire to share this with others, to bring hope and comfort so that they know they are not on their own either.

This show is about what happens when we are cracked open and how, if we allow it to, grace can transform us beyond anything we could imagine.

I am so glad you are here.
