I needed this 10 mins. of peace. <3
One of the best, of many gems, in this lovely and short oasis of calm was the reminder to "treat your body like a friend." Would I force a friend to always take the hard route? Always work for hours without movement or relief? NEWP, I certainly wouldn't. Heather's lovely sensory invitation at the beginning created a soothing frame of mind that set the tone for this listen. From encouragement to acceptance, this super quick podcast offered many substantive options for being good to myself right now, in this moment. I think my favorite part was the soothing voice and suggestions for how I can care for myself in small ways that have a big impact. If you're feeling overwelmed or just need 10 minutes of peace, I highly recomment this quick, comforting listen.
