This week we wrapped up Trigun Stampede and just like we thought, we enjoyed the last 6 episodes more, me much more and Artsy a little more! The breakdown Knives and Vash's history was done well, and finally seeing Vash stand up for himself was very enjoyable to see. This week's episode we reviewed 2006's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and, it was something for sure! We follow Makoto through the movie as she realizes that she can jump back in time and how she uses this new found power for her benefit while slowly coming to know that her benefit might cause other people harm.

This week's episode was on 2010's The Secret World of Arrietty and it was a very nice and welcome surprise. Generally, we aren't huge fans of the craziness with faces and animation that usually comes with Ghibli, but this one actually kind of resonated with us. The visuals are beautiful like always, but the detail in how the borrowers move around and live was very cool to see.
