Are These "Superfoods" Keeping You Sick? (with Sally K. Norton, MPH)

  • Resumen

  • Sally K. Norton, MPH holds a nutrition degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree in Public Health. Her path to becoming a leading expert on dietary oxalate includes a prior career working at major medical schools in medical education and public health research. Her personal healing experience inspired years of research that led to her book, Toxic Superfoods: How Oxalate Overload is Making You Sick-and How to Get Better which was released in January 2023 from Rodale Press and is available everywhere books are sold.

Sally will join Dr. Osborne to discuss the potential threats of vegetarianism and plant-based diets, and they will highlight the importance of hard data and science. Sally will also share her background and her discovery that her lifelong arthritis was related to the oxalates she was consuming. They will also touch on the challenges of conducting research and the impact of digital information.
Dr. Osborne and Sally Norton will emphasize the need for nutritional knowledge and the importance of understanding the potential risks of certain dietary choices.
