Are You Using The Leash The RIGHT Way? | Ep 157

  • Summary

  • Having a leash on your puppy while they’re outside of their crate or playpen and around the house with you can be extremely helpful in ensuring their safety, keeping them out of trouble and making sure they stay near you!

But if they are chewing the leash, putting the brakes on when you’re using it, or pulling on the leash so there’s a lot of tension, it could be interfering with the “good intentions” of the leash and causing more issues and frustration for your puppy.

In Episode 157 of the Ask A Puppy Trainer Show, Bethany goes over the various scenarios of using the leash with your puppy so you can make sure you are using it the RIGHT way that’s positive and will benefit your pup — plus get them to stop chewing on it!
