At the Table

By: Tiffanni and Demi
  • Summary

  • Tables hold a sort of symbolic value in our culture. Think about how many relationships are formed over them. We cry, laugh, eat and drink over them! Tables are invitations —someone basically saying, “I desire a closer connection to you, come sit with me. Let’s talk.” What if we were to tell you you have a seat at the most important table in the world? God himself, Creator and King of the universe is not inaccessible. The King has invited you to dine with Him at His table. It is not too late to accept His personal and communal invitation sent to you. The table is already prepared for you, will you have a seat?

    -John 4:23

Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labour for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. — Isaiah 55: 1-3
