  • Through the core elements of Hip Hop, entrepreneur Gary Pagtakhan continues to find purpose, resilience, inspiration, and overall joy. Known as DJ Cheez Wiz in the artist community, his influences stem from Marvel comics, rappers such as Run DMC and Wu-Tang Clan, breakdancing with his older brothers, and the physicalities and aesthetics of skateboarding culture.

    Based in Oahu by way of Northern California, Gary’s travels to the Philippine Islands, Italy, Atlanta, St. Louis, and the West Coast, have enriched him with a diverse cultural experience that has empowered him with the tools for personal growth, both spiritually and mentally. With an awareness of the ever-changing tech world, as well as the foundational need for authentic relationship-building, Gary’s persistence is carried into his own record label Hella Choke Records, skateboard company Manana SB, and volunteer work as a cosplay member of the international 501st Legion.
