All these ladies spoke about their boxing journey into the sport, how TCL has changed their lives for the better, how have they been able to adjust to fighting just a one round for two and/or three minute as opposed to fighting 10 rounds for two minutes and why TCL is different because of it's a team aspect vs. being a lonely sport and who will be the final two teams competing in the Megabrawl, August 1st at the Commerce Casino Hotel. Ronica Jeffrey of New York City Attitude nominated for Most Resilient Fighter Melissa St. Vil of New York City Attitude nominated for Most Resilient Fighter Alicia Napoleon-Espinosa of New York City Attitude nominated for Most Resilient Fighter Samantha Ginthan of Houston Hitmen nominated for Rookie of the Year Jaime Mitchell for DC Destroyers nominated for Rookie of the Year Unique Team Format: TCL features 12 teams from major U.S. markets, competing in a series of team vs. team contests. Each event showcases male and female fighters in thrilling one-round contests. · Championship Stakes: The season culminates in the MegaBrawl on Thursday, August 1, Semifinal (July 27) matchups set in the coming weeks to determine the teams that will fight for the championship · Innovative Format: There are 24 three-minute rounds of continuous action, with competitors competing in one-round matches across eight weight classes (six male and two female). Each match consists of three periods: Launch Rounds (1-8), Middle Rounds (9-16) and Money Rounds (17-24). Scoring is based on a 10-9 system for decision wins, 10-8 for knockdowns and 10-7 for two knockdowns or a stoppage. · Collaboration with Magilla Entertainment: This partnership promises to deliver engaging and authentic content that highlights the personal sacrifices and triumphs of TCL's fighters.
