  • Episode 8: Silent Night, Deadly Night
    Jan 20 2022
Now the festive season is well and truly over...why not check out our Christmas episode! We figured if the big box stores can kick off the party in October, we can drag out the fun until the end of January. So, point and laugh as we bring you our thoughts on Charles E. Sellier Jr.'s 1984 Yuletide slasher, Silent Night Deadly Night. The story of Billy Chapman; a wholesome but troubled young man with a serious case of post traumatic Santa disorder. One fateful Christmas eve, after filling in for an ailing St. Nick at the local toy store, Billy decides that a gruesome death is much more fitting than a lump of coal for all those naughty boys and girls. *insert jingle bells here* Note: Our regular listeners will notice a lack of R.K. commentary on this episode. I could say that, because she is only 9 and still a believer, we decided to spare another child the trauma of this movie's plot but that would be lie. Truth is we just didn't get around to it but we promise she'll be back next episode with a vengeance!

  • Episode 7: Doomsday
    Oct 20 2021
After directing the (2nd?) best werewolf movie, Dog Soldiers (2002) and the best caving movie, The Descent (2005), Hollywood threw a bunch of cash at Neil Marshall and said, "Make us a movie!" So, he did....and most people hated it. That movie was Doomsday (2018). Starring Rhona Mitra as the incredibly haaawwt and badass, Major Eden Sinclair and a bunch of dudes. Doomsday is set in a dystopian British future where the incredibly haaawwt Rhona and her expendable man-tourage are tasked with infiltrating a left-for-dead Scotland on the hunt for a cure to the pandemic running rampant in London. On their travels, they encounter cannibals! Knights! Exploding cows! And a sweet Bentley! So, what's not to like?? Tune in to find out if K.T. and T.K. agree with "most people" or with Neil Marshall when he decided you should always let the haaawwt chick drive your car...and your movie.

  • Episode 6: The Wicker Man
    Jul 5 2021
In this episode, T.K. and K.T. discuss director Neil La Bute's much maligned remake of the 1973 classic, The Wicker Man.  A decent remake is nigh on impossible to find, and this film is no exception.  Unless, of course, you share our deep love and appreciation for Nicolas' Cage Rage!! Accompanied, as always, by R.K.'s wicked commentary, we attempt to solve some of this movie's mysteries, e.g. What is in the bag? How did it get burned? And the correct pronunciation of Sobieski. If you're a "NOT THE SPOILERS!!!" kinda person, we recommend checking out the movie before listening. Enjoy!

  • Episode 5: Tusk
    Apr 22 2021
In 2014, (not Canadian) Kevin Smith decided to fill a void that probably very few people felt. That there just aren't enough walrus movies in existence. However, Tusk isn't just any old walrus movie. The sheer insanity of this story will shock and disgust you, but also (if like us you have a sick sense of humour) might just make you laugh out loud. So, take a trip through (not Canadian) Kevin Smith's crazy brain with T.K. and K.T. and find out what we thought of Justin Long's moustache. As usual, this episode is chock full of spoilers so watching before listening is highly recommended. Enjoy!
