Released on 26th June 1974 on Swan Song Records, the album was recorded at Headley Grange with Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio in November 1973. "Bad Company" reached the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart in the United States and is regarded as a classic of the hard rock genre. The album featured hits like "Can't Get Enough," which peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart, and "Movin' On," which reached No. 19.
