If you want to adopt a cat at a shelter, please adopt a black cat. Black cats sit in shelters because people do not want to adopt them. Hollywood has drilled it in our brain that black cats are evil. And the sad thing is black cats are the first to be euthanized because they sit in shelters for the longest.
