I had the opportunity to sit down with Savannah Souter and hear her amazing testimony about how she came to know Jesus through politics. Savannah is doing so much to help make America great again, and she believes that it all starts in your community. She serves in her church as well as her local government. She believes it's so important for the church to use it's voice in times like these in order to proclaim the truth written in the Word of God, because hearing the truth is what made her decide to give her life to the Lord. If we really want this country to be saved, we must put God first. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." God CAN and WILL heal the United States of America, but we MUST turn back to Him. It's the only way this country can truly be great again.

Sometimes we talk a little too much... especially when we need or want something from God. Instead of praying for the breakthrough over and over again, trust that God hears you and that He's already given you what you've asked for. Chances are, God has already given you the answer to your prayer, but you haven't done anything about it. God gives us doors, but it's our job to knock on those doors. We can spend our whole lives praying, but if we don't take action, we may not see the full results of our prayers being answered.

It’s so important to PRAISE THE LORD, even when you don’t feel like it! Praising the Lord when you’re sick will get you healed. Praising the Lord when you’re sad will make you joyful. Praising the Lord when you’re anxious will give you peace! Whenever you’re in need, Praise the Lord! Philippians 4:4-7 says, “Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in EVERY SITUATION, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” There’s so much power in praising the Lord. Praise Him! Hallelujah!

Words are powerful. It's so important that we use our words for good, especially in times like these. There are a lot of loud people today, and many of them are standing for the wrong things. It's important for us as Christians to start standing up and using our voices for the RIGHT things! Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Speak life. Speak the Word.
