  • This month we are celebrating International Women’s Month and the theme for this year is Break the Bias. Kaya in celebration of women, pag-uusapan natin how we can empower women by breaking the biases that surround us. 

    As women madami nang biases, stereotypes, and discrimination against us. “Babae kasi” or “Mahina kasi babae” are just some of the comments na nagpapakita na hanggang ngayon madami pa rin tayong hinaharap na biases that we need to break. As migrant women, mas madami pa ang discrimination na hinaharap natin, especially as women of colour in countries that are predominantly white. Sa pag break ng bias, dapat kasama natin lahat.
