God says: Turn you at MY reproof: behold, I will pour out MY spirit unto you, I will make known MY words unto you. (Proverbs 1:23) But they wouldn't do this. So God says: Proverbs 1:24-33 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out MY hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all MY counsel, and would none of MY reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon ME, but I will not answer; they shall seek ME early, but they shall not find ME: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of MY counsel: they despised all MY reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. 33 But whoso hearkeneth unto ME shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. *** All scripture comes from God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. *** Psalm 107 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And HE led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. 8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men! 9 For HE satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. 10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; 11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: 12 Therefore HE brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help. 13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saved them out of their distresses. 14 HE brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. 15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men! 16 For HE hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. 17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. 18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. 19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saveth them out of their distresses. 20 HE sent HIS word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. *** Remember to pray, asking God what to do: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
