Welcome to CAHPSTONE - a podcast about all things heritage related!

Enter the expanding world of professionals working on historic places. This first episode, hosted by award-winning engineer, Tom Morrison, owner of Heritage Standing Inc. introduces you to the 'hows and whys' of heritage conservation.

Over the season we'll feature many high-profiled professionals in different heritage fields. But we begin with two of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals' past presidents: Chris Uchiyama, Principal at LHC Heritage Planning and Archaeology Inc. Chris recounts her experiences with Tom as an archaeologist focusing on cultural heritage.

Our other guest, Dima Cook, is a notable Canadian architect and leader in heritage conservation. As a principal at EVOQ Architecture she has led their Toronto office on a range of prominent heritage projects. Dima brings her insight into the world of heritage conservation and its relationship to all facets of sustainable design and future-proofing.

Keep listening, and stay on top of the podcast for this season! Other engaging professionals will be featured in upcoming episodes!
