Hello and welcome to our series “Stay in His Presence.” We are celebrating five years of podcasting by going into our vault, remastering, and rebroadcasting select episodes since June 2020. Last week, we heard the miracle testimony of Michael Dudley and how the Lord healed him from prostate and colon cancer. This week, we will listen to another miracle testimony from Andrea Dudley, his wife, as presented on August 21, 2021. Andrea is the CEO of Habakkuk Publishing, established in 2006. A Christian company that publishes books which inspire, encourage, and impact the lives of people.

My name is Stephanie Wright. Let’s go to Andrea’s encouraging message of Hope Beyond Brokenness.

  • Episode 12, "Five-Year Podcast Anniversary" Series: "Stay in His Presence" Season 13
    Jun 21 2025

    Send us a text

Hello and welcome to Episode 12 in our series “Stay in His Presence.” This is a special podcast entitled “Five-Year Podcast Anniversary.” We are your hosts, Dr. Charles and Dr. Stephanie Wright.

Charles George Missions is celebrating five years of podcasting with “CGM Presents: In the Word.” We would like to thank our Board of Directors and everyone who has supported us by listening to our podcasts or making a financial contribution to the ministry. A special “thank you” to everyone who has appeared as a guest on the podcast.

    History behind the podcast:

We launched the first podcast on June 20, 2020, “Life, Love, Laughter: The Book of Ruth.” We have produced over 200 episodes, reached 99 countries and 1300 cities worldwide.

Charles, did you know that, according to Buzzsprout, the platform we use for podcasting, 90% of podcasts don't get past episode 3? Of the few that continue, another 90% will quit after 20 episodes. In other words, if you reach episode 21, you're among the top 1% of podcasters worldwide who made it.

Why was the podcast started? The pandemic—Covid-19—temporarily interrupted our ability to conduct mission work around the world. We had previously traveled to the Philippines, Guam, Micronesia, South Africa, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Israel, France, and Alaska. So, we started the podcast to continue spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Top ten countries: United States, Ireland, Germany, Singapore, Canada, South Africa, France, Australia, United Kingdom, Russian Federation

Our most demanding podcast was in December 2020, when we presented a podcast every day from December 1 through December 25. Many of you helped by submitting your favorite Christmas memory.

The most intense podcast was the Book of Revelation which required all of 2023 to complete.

Some podcasts, like the Revelation series, were also videotaped, and you can see them on our YouTube channel @cgmissionsinc [where this video will be posted].

CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast covers every aspect of life from "A" to "Z" while applying Bible principles to 21st-century living. All podcasts can be reached by category at www.cgmissions.com/podcasts

All podcasts are on the following podcast platforms: Apple, Spotify, Amazon, iHeart, Pandora, and more. The presentations are informative and inspirational while weaving in a dash of humor to uplift and encourage listeners. Most of all, it leads the listener to a deliberate inquiry into their relationship with the Lord.

We are so grateful to our listeners who encourage us.

We look forward to another year of podcasting in 2026. I can hardly wait to see where God takes us with the following season.

Thank you for joining us on our five-year anniversary.

This is Dr. Stephanie Wright and

    Dr. Charles Wright—until next time.

  • Episode 11, "Spiritual Warfare, On the Battlefield" Season 13–"Stay in His Presence"
    Jun 18 2025

    Send us a text

Hello and welcome to Episode 11 in our series, “Stay in His Presence,” Season 13. My name is Stephanie Wright, your host.
We are continuing in our study of the attributes of the Holy Spirit from A to Z. The title of today’s podcast is “Spiritual Warfare—On the Battlefield.” This podcast will encompass spiritual warfare and military warfare from a Biblical perspective. Our guest speaker is Dr. Charles Wright, who will enhance our understanding of spiritual warfare with his expertise in military warfare. His experiences, like those of many soldiers, were unique because, on occasion, he waged spiritual and military warfare simultaneously. He will share two of those accounts today: "Wise Counsel" and "Living Among the Dead." Then we will continue this episode with a sequel, Part 2, "I'm Still Alive," and "Punji Pits," and "In the Trenches with the Holy Spirit." Thank you for joining us.

    STEPHANIE: Welcome, Dr. Wright.
    CHARLES: Thank you, Stephanie.
    STEPHANIE:
Before we get started on our topic of the Holy Spirit in spiritual warfare and military warfare, let’s tell our listeners a little bit about you.
Charles served in the United States Army from August 3, 1966, to August 2, 1968. He was an infantry specialist medic. He served in Vietnam in 1967. He has received the Bronze Star with the "V" device for heroism and the Purple Heart for injuries he sustained in the war. He has also received the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. After his service, he graduated from college, received his master's degree from Ohio Christian University. On June 7 of this year, he received his doctorate in theology from North Carolina College of Theology. He is an ordained bishop and apostle. He is the founder of Charles George Missions, Inc. He is the father of two daughters and five grandchildren, and my husband of 52 years.
    CHARLES: Thank you, Stephanie.
    STEPHANIE
: Here is a definition of spiritual warfare that I came up with recently.
Spiritual warfare is the ongoing battle between God and His holy forces against Satan and his unholy forces both in the heavenly realm and on earth for control over humanity and their destiny—eternal life or everlasting damnation.

Would you like to comment on that, or should we proceed directly to the encounters you had, which probably give that definition life?

(The podcast continues with Dr. Wright's accounts in Vietnam.)
