    Oh my!! It's Episode 49!

Imagine, if you will, that we are not yet in the first week of November. No, this is the last week of October and Halloween is just around the corner. It's our Halloween episode!

Ok so we're kinda late, but dammit it is hard to do a podcast on a busy work week. I'd like to see you try. Anyway, super excited to present you folks this latest episode, for we have a special guest. Jack Leister, a well versed movie buff and literary itellectial has joined us to discuss two very horrific films. He knows what he's talking about.

Our first film is a remake of the cult classic, HELLRAISER. A film that sometimes gets overlooked in the big sceme of horror films. The films retells the story of a young girl recovering from addiction, on her last leg, looking for a big payday. But in that desperation she unleashes hell on her and her loved ones.

The second, and technically classic film, is 2013's EVIL DEAD. A film that has insipred many other horror films since the original premired in 1982. This film is evil, gory, horrific and extremely well done. Another young lady dealing with addictions finds herself possesed, in the woods no less. This one is scary as hell!

    Enjoy you fools!!

  • HALLOWEEN SPECIAL 2022
    Oct 28 2022

    Happy Halloween!

Episode 48 happens to land right before Halloween 2022. I can't say it's been a great year but it's definetly been a good October for scary films and Haloween horror.

Unfortunately we are missing our brother in arms, Brandon. As you can see by the cover, he's been through some stuff. Nonetheless, the show must go on and by a twist of fate, his absence created the platform for a Halloween special. Filled with stories of horror films, trauma, memories, and lessons learned.

It was a fun, carefree pod and we had fun. Hope you all have fun listening!

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.... this new episode gave me life! Episode 47!

So here we are again, another day another episode. We had a damn good time recording this shit, had some drinks, smoked the peace pipe and slapped each other. You can hear all this during the episode.

For our new film we reviewed B.J. Novaks directorial debut with his movie VENGEANCE. A great first film for the Office alumn. A trully compelling story and murder mistery set in Dallas Texas were they don't fuck around about football. It really is super fun to watch and we recommend it to all of you. This movie is deeper than it seems and it's stongest suit is it's writing.

For our classic, we reviewed none other than FARGO, a Coen Brothers classic and one of the films that cemented their legacy. This film makes a small town murder larger than life. It is such a care free drama and black comedy. These guys have a gift for mixing both genres. A great cast of actors really bring this story to life. A lot of classic film moments came from this one. Enjoy!

Thank you all for the supply!

When you look up at the skies, imagine what lies behind the stars, you will find our newest episode... EP 46!!

We are very happy to be back with another episode. Always grateful to get the chance to record with my brothers in film. I can't tell you how great it feels to be able to not only watch film, but break down the art it self.

For our new film we chose to watch NOPE, the latest film from acclaimed director Jordan Peele. I have always admired the work of Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael Key. From their days on MADTV I could tell they were gifted performers. Still, I never thought Jordan would evolve into such a great director. This film is a great addition to the Sci-Fi genre, a new classic?

For our real classic we watched THE MIST. Based on a Stephen King novel, this film carries all the fear and suspense he easily delivers. The film takes place in a small town following the life of a family man. After a big storm hit the coastal town a mysterious mist flows through the town. Well, the mist it self is not the issue, but the creatures hiding within it. A very fun watch.

    So without further ado, leggo!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the latest episode of CINEMAFOOS! Episode 45 to be exact, I'm trying really hard to keep track at this point.

On this latest episode of the FOO's we are reviewing two films that most people would consider dark and violent. They're not completely off. The difference between these films and the rest like it is that they actually have great stories to tell.

For our new film we chose, CRIMES OF THE FUTURE. The latest film from acclaimed diredctor David Cronenberg. Director of classic films like THE FLY and HISTORY of VIOLENCE. Which also stars Viggo Mortensen, who plays a performance artists in the latest film. In a time and place where pain and sickness in non excistent, this artists uses his body to express himself.

For our classic film we watched THE CELL! I absolutely loved this film as a kid. Starring Jennifer Lopez and Vince Voungh. It opened my mind with it's big ideas and visual art. The sets and whoredrobe in this film deserve all the praise for creating an unthinkable world. At it's core this film is a crime drama. I wont explain too much of it but if you want an idea of what this film is just think of these four movies..SEVEN, SILENCE OF THE LAMB, THE MATRIX, INCEPTION.

Hope you all enjoy the show!

Hello new world, all the boys and girls, we got a new episode for ya!

    Episode 43

Gotta keep it pushin, we love this podcast with all our hearts and we have a great fucking time doing it. The best part is, you can feel it through the audio. So here we go again.

On this episode we jump into the Metaverse. Films like THE UNBEARABLE WEIGHT OF MASSIVE TALENT & BEING JOHN MALKOVICH really make the best of this idea. Diving deep into the mind and essance of these very real people & actors, playing a certain version of themselves on film. And quite masterfully I might say,

This new Nic Cage film is real nostalgia candy and it's delicious. IF you know and follow Nicolas Cage's career you will enjoy this twice over. If you don't follow his career than you will simply enjoy a good film.

Being John Malkovich is one of those films you watch randomly or because someone recommended it to you and you truly never forget it. I leaves an imprint on you and it becomes a certain standard. Must watch.

    Ok, go listen!

    May 31 2022

I did not think we would be back for this one buuuuut here we are... Episode 42!!

It definitely feels good to announce a new episode. Besides taking a little break after our one year anniversary we also had a big issue with scheduling. Who knew we could be so busy for a couple of losers. Anyway, itfelt good to be back with the boys.

On this episode we review two films that blend fantasy and violence. CONAN THE BARBARIAN and THE NORTHMAN. The films are not really the highlight of this episode, we are. The conversations behind the films are what makes this podcast so damn entertaining.

    So without further ado, enjoy!!
