This show would not have come about if not for the faith of the cast! Meet a few of the people that make this a great project –

* Jody Litman, plays the Vandy LaFleur, the matriarch of the LaFleur family. She also plays the great actor Nora Stanhope, the nemesis of Vandy.

* Delyn Meyers plays the "concerned" neighbor, Midge Roberts. She along with the late Sue Neal as Barbie Hadley brought a comedic timing to this project.

* Angelique Yalda brought a wicked naivete to the love-sick Trisha Willis.

* Angela Romeo is Gardner LaFleur, the world-weary daughter of Vandy.

Rounding out the Season One Women are Tula Dean as Toula Bankhead - another of Bram's lovesick crew and the archenemy of Trisha. Our Barbie, played brilliantly by the late great Sue Neal. Sue was an unbelievable gift to the Always Here family.

Melody Fowler is an artist, author and independent publisher.Her Poetic Gem Art is all about the power of books. A suitcase was returned to Tim Lorsch by man he did not know. The man found the suitcase in a thrift store in England. Through the internet he located Tim in Tennessee. The suitcase had belonged to Tim's Uncle Julius. It was the suitcase Julius had taken to the Auschwitz concentration camp. The suitcase survived.

Tim Lorsch's family lived through the Hitler genocide and for years after lived under the shadow of that time. Tim's family assimilated to life in the US. They started a business, raised a family and, they like many others tried to reconcile the Holocaust with their present and the future they hoped for their children.

Tim grew up surrounded by a strong family and community. He became an accomplished and successful musician. Using these skills and the process of "looping" Tim was able the create a unique and powerful performance of hope.

Using his family's history, his music and words, Tim created THE SUITCASE. Playing a variety of stringed instruments, including a family heirloom violin saved from the Nazis, Tim tells one family's story of assimilation in preWWII Germany, sacrifice, escape, journey, community and a second assimilation of his family in the US.
