This is not two evangelical protestants bashing the idea of Lent but an honest discussion of our view on Lent and why we don't take part in it. We discuss if there's a biblical basis for Lent, fasting, holy days, etc. and we hopefully challenge those of you who do take part in Lent to do it for the Lord if you are going to take part.

In this episode Dennis and Matt get a chance to talk with Kaitlyn Donihue who works with Justice For All, a ministry focused on being an advocate for the Pro-Life position and sharing the love of Christ to those affected by abortion.
Kaitlyn shares her ministry on college campuses where she dialogues with students about the pro-life position and bringing the love of Christ to those who are hurting. She also shares a side of her ministry as a trainer with JFA in which she goes to local churches to teach seminars to those in the Church on how best to advocate for the pro-life position from an attitude of Christlikeness.

In this episode Dennis and Matt sit down with a former college professor of theirs to discuss chapter three of Miles Stanford's book "The Green Letters." The chapter is on Acceptance and the guys discuss the topic of our acceptance in Christ and, as Miles says in the book, "are we accepted by God and on what basis are we accepted?" 

In this episode Dennis and Matt are joined by a former Bible school professor, Rich Bruce, to discuss chapter two of "The Green Letters" on the issue of Time. Rich spent nearly two decades serving in Venezuela with New Tribes Mission and then came on staff with New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, MI. Currently he is serving as the discipleship pastor at a local church in Michigan. 

In this episode Matt and Dennis are joined by their friend Josh Mathew as they discuss the first chapter of Miles Stanford's book The Green Letters. The chapter is called "Faith" and if you don't already have the book we'd encourage you to read along with us as we discuss the chapter.
