  • With the Celebration of Authors event happening Sept. 21, Diego Salazar, president of the Las Cruces Writers group, stopped by Visit Las Cruces to discuss how attending can polish one's writing skills and learn how to publish one's written work. The free event will be taking place at the Elks Lodge, 3000 Elks Drive, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and in addition to the workshops, books from local authors can be purchased with the opportunity to have them signed.
