  • Halle Bailey was recently cast as Ariel in the live-action remake of "The Little Mermaid." When the trailer for the movie was released, the video recieved over 1.5 million dislikes with people leaving racist comments. Youtube had to disable the comment section due to the number of racist comments. Tune as I break down the source of why racist folk is bothered by a little black mermaid and the portrayal of black folk in media.
