  • Science Behind Manifesting, Exploring the AI Boom, & DTC in a Post-Pandemic Environment with Sammy Patten Rivera
    Jul 17 2023
Sammy Patten Rivera and I worked together in the early stages of a scrappy startup and during that time we identified synchronicities about each other that allowed us to form a fast connection. During our chat, we explore the science behind manifesting, how ChatGPT shook up the industry of AI, and what it means to be a leader in DTC in a post-pandemic environment and economy. Sammy and I didn't touch on any of the intended topics during this episode so she will be back later in the season for part two where we'll explore female friendships, losing a parent, and other topics. Grab your coffee and enjoy getting to know Sammy!

  • Introduction: Why We're Here
    Apr 2 2023

Like many during the 2020 pandemic, my routine completely shifted as the country transitioned to full-time remote work. My mornings were filled with more athleisure wear and less traffic. As part of my new routine, I searched for something to replace my morning commute that would help shift my mindset from home to work. I stumbled upon some amazing podcasts but found myself wanting to be a part of the conversations. And so began the idea of Coffee & Convos – a podcast filled with truly authentic conversations.

It was made to be listened to when you're brewing your morning coffee, driving to the coffee shop for a cold brew, or even with an espresso martini. However you choose to enjoy your coffee, you'll now have a friendly companion. We'll explore topics like leadership, diversity, current events, life and death, friendship, and relationships, and anything else our listeners crave. I'm so excited to share these conversations with you. I'll be chatting with some of my closest friends and mentors to start, but if you or someone you know wants to join in on the conversation, just send them my way.

    About Kelsey Knight

Kelsey Knight, 30 at the time of this podcast launch, has carried many titles: daughter, wife, boss, employee, and student, among others. In an effort to normalize that titles change along with the seasons of life, we'll avoid a label for the purpose of this bio. When it comes to Coffee & Convos, she's just an average woman seeking meaning and connection in her relationships and life who's turning to podcasting to share that authentically with the world.

    About the Music

The intro and outro for Coffee & Convos is from "With A Little Bit of Luck" which was written and produced by John Howard. John was a singer-songwriter who produced three albums full of originals and also happens to be Kelsey's dad. John passed away in March of 2023 but was, and still is, the creative inspiration that pushed Kelsey to finally publish this podcast. John's music can be found on all major streaming platforms.
