  • Darren Ford

Darren Scott Ford (born October 1, 1985), nicknamed The Bullet, is an American former professional baseball center fielder. He is the grandson of Ted Ford, who played in the majors in the early 1970s. He played 33 games for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2010 and 2011, used most often as a pinch runner. So glad to have him on and talk his time in the minors to his cup of tea in the majors winning the World Series title in 2010. Basically as he said it’s a grind to play the sport and kudos to him for not giving up on his dream. We also talked about his relationship with his fellow outfielders Lorenzo cain and Michael Brantley who go figure leave and get a title but good to know he stays in touch with them and also talked about his coaching the youngins today --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/byron-richmond/support

David Gregory Huff (born August 22, 1984) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Saraperos de Saltillo of the Mexican League. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Los Angeles Angels. Huff has also played for the LG Twins of the KBO League and for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Unfortunately wasn’t able to finish the podcast form because computer crashed but what I could get here was an awesome conversation with him on his playing days in the majors to his time overseas in the kbo to Mexican league. Man he even made me feel old by going over old times by going against players I grew up watching. All this and more fun so tune in for my first episode back in over a year --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/byron-richmond/support

Matthew John Kata (born March 14, 1978) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Houston Astros. Longest conversation I’ve had with a player or announcer. It was awesome hearing his stories of the Randy Johnson perfect to him helping Sammy Sosa swing. Please give this a listen. Also talked more about the state of baseball compared to when he started in 99 --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/byron-richmond/support
