• #66 - Trump Survives Assassination Attempt
    Jul 14 2024

In a hot-off-the-press emergency episode, Pietro is joined by both Floyd and Max to talk about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump at an election rally in Pennsylvania. They look at all the details we have so far, predictions on what this could mean for the US election and the world, how Biden responded to the attempt, the libertarian insight into what’s happened, and most importantly: where are Trump's shoes?

  • #65 - Greg Revell - Why Government Hates Bitcoin
    Jul 5 2024

Pietro is joined by bitcoin enthusiast and expert, Greg Revell. Greg is an IT consultant with 30 years’ experience who has spent thousands of hours reading, watching and sharing information about bitcoin.

The two discuss bitcoin from a libertarian lens, and how the technology can subvert the fiat currency dominance that governments rely on for their steady flow of inflation.

They look at the origins of money, how government has destroyed money, how bitcoin can fix it, and Greg busts some myths and answers some concerns regarding the future of the technology.

They also compare bitcoin to it’s ancestor in the ‘hard money’ world: gold and the gold standard.

For any questions you may have on the discussion, Greg is happy to answer emails at:

  • #64 - Biden Sacrificed by the Democrats
    Jun 30 2024

Pietro and Floyd look at the recent goings on in Australia and abroad in a huge news week. First, the recent Joe Biden and Donald Trump Presidential debate just a couple of days ago has revealed the true depth of Biden’s declining mental state, and rumours have exploded regarding his possible replacement.

In good news for libertarians (for once), Julian Assange was finally freed and returned to Australia after pleading guilty to a felony charge for publishing US military secrets.

Finally, Tucker Carlson has been in Australia, speaking to sellout crowds. He shared on his twitter a segment of one of these shows where he took questions from the media, and exposed how dishonest and deceitful our journalists can be.

  • #63 - Dutton Chooses the Nuclear Option
    Jun 23 2024

In the absence of major news on the looming US election, Pietro and Floyd look again at Australia’s looming election, and discuss the various issues which could become election deciders for Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese. Chief among these is Dutton’s recent pledging of support for Nuclear Power, and promising Nuclear Plants in Australia should he become Prime Minister. This has naturally drawn criticism for Labor and the Greens, with even Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan embarrassing herself by chiming in.

They also take a look at the feud between Pauline Hanson and Robert Irwin over One Nation’s popular cartoon series titled ‘Please Explain’.

    Jun 16 2024

Pietro and Max look into recent goings-on in Australian politics. They look at the recent push for banning social media for under 16 year olds, which has support from both Dutton and Albanese. • #61 - Dave Smith gets COVID Revenge
    Jun 2 2024

Pietro and Floyd break down a massive week in libertarian world news. First, they look at the carnage wrought by Dave Smith’s takedown of Chris Cuomo in their recent debate on Patrick Bet-David’s show. They discuss the vindication of libertarians and government sceptics all around the world, which was highlighted in this debate—including topics such as Joe Rogan’s ivermectin, vaccine mandates, lockdowns and more.

Then they look at the recent outcome of Trump’s trial in New York and what the guilty verdict means for the upcoming US election. The trial centred around a hush-money payment to pornstar Stormy Daniels and Trump is now being heralded by media as a “Convicted Felon”.

Finally they look at the momentous US Libertarian Party’s national convention where Chase Oliver was chosen as the Presidential candidate, much to the chagrin of Dave Smith and other Mises Caucus libertarians.

  • #60 - Dr Petra Bueskens - Gender Critical Feminism
    May 26 2024

Pietro is joined by Dr Petra Bueskens, an academic, author and psychotherapist. They discuss gender critical feminism, as it relates to the growing fervour of the transgender movement and the personal and professional dangers that come with speaking against it.

Petra also outlines her journey from the left to libertarianism, as well as some of the left-wing views she is reluctant to let go of. She talks about how the left has changed, how COVID was a pivotal moment in her awakening, and how voluntary community-based society has been lost in the modern era. They also discuss the sexual revolution, the welfare system, censorship, and more.

  • #59 - Trump turns to the Libertarians
    May 12 2024

Pietro and Floyd catch up on the recent goings-on of the US Libertarian party, who will be hosting Donald Trump and RFK Junior at their National Convention later this month. They talk about the controversy surrounding the news, as well as how it helps Libertarians impose themselves on the national discussion. They also talk about Dave Smith, and how he may be regretting not putting his hand up to run as the Libertarian Presidential candidate.

They then talk about the recent decision to suspend all use of the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine amid admissions that it caused "rare but significant injuries". They then take this moment to poke fun at some of the worst moments of the COVID narrative, including: the banning of ivermectin use, Dan Andrews' endorsement of AstraZeneca, Mark McGowan using an Aboriginal woman to translate from English to English, and Bill DeBlasio bribing people to get vaccinated with a burger.
