The first phase of the project starts near the 70/63 connector in Columbia and moves to the Kingdom City exit according to Eric Kopinski, the Project Manager, working out of the MoDOT Central Missouri District office. It's a massive project and it has an aggressive timetable. Lots of details here on the project. Next, we get an update on what's going on at Columbia Regional Airport - FlyCOU from Manager Mike Parks. Mike reports that the numbers are great. In fact, taking in consideration just American Airlines, in May they passed the best numbers from months prior to the pandemic. Mike tells us about continuous projects that are ongoing at the airport with the new concession area being finished by the end of August.
