Partway during their deployment, his team suffered devastating losses in the mountains of Afghanistan in an incident detailed in the best-selling book and hit movie “Lone Survivor”. As Jim grappled with crippling grief, it was all he could do, to cling to the One who offered any glimmer of hope. This Explains A lot.

He explained how he grew up with a very verbal family. How he tried to continue the story telling tradition.
I'm so glad that there are some people still around that actually can survive without a cell phone tied to there arm, or a laptop telling them what to do and when. If you grew up and lived in the country during the 20th century then his stories are going to ring true, and you won't be able to stop laughing at all the good intentional screw ups Hank and Drover fall into over and over again.
