  • The party emerges from the chaos and Bur-Bur is no more. The city of Crescent Lake lies in ruins under the gargantuan carcass of the decaying behemoth; the day belongs to the heroes, but it comes at a cost. Targus is dead, having sacrificed himself to bring down the monster, all that remains of him is his dagger. As the night rolls on, the group finds respite in one another and conversation. As the sun rises the group leaves Crescent Lake and makes its way to the University. There, they are confronted by a powerful deity who reveals to them an unsettling truth that will change the course of the future forever.
