It was a case that started fifteen years ago; or perhaps, it was a case that started three years ago. It was a case that started with a troubled young boy and his father who was shot in cold blood; or perhaps it was a case that started with two idiots, a pair of microphones, and an overly detailed summary of The First Turnabout

The time has come. Right here, right now. Two lawyers. Two Podcasters. Together, they will put an end to the madness that began so, so long ago

Two men, a misty lake, a mysterious grudge and... At the center of it all, is Miles Edgeworth. How did our favorite tsundere prosecutor get wrapped up in this? Why does he refuse the help of Phoenix Wright, and why is Wright so intent to help regardless? Questions abound as Meesh and Abby begin their coverage of the final case in the original Ace Attorney game, Turnabout Goodbyes!

This episode only covers the first investigation segment of Turnabout Goodbyes because Meesh and Abby got way too caught up in the details of the case! Stay tuned for three more episodes covering this case and all its twists and turns!

So let's go for a drive and get into it (Just try not to forget your script for Episode 13 of the Steel Samurai along the way!)

Third Case Syndrome (n.) - The observed phenomenon wherein the third case of an Ace Attorney game is considered to be the worst amongst the others; a problem that stems from the case existing in a narrative deadzone for the game where it neither establishes fresh, new ideas nor delivers on existing stakes.

Will Abby and Meesh be able handle Third Case Syndrome? Will they be able to make it through the contrived fetch quests of the middle day of Turnabout Samurai? Will they be able to come up with enough talking points to keep things interesting? Well, the episode is nearly three hours long, and this case actually rocks, so yeah.

NOTE: Due to technical troubles, the audio during the first hour of the episode may sound noticeably worse than prior episodes. This issue gets sorted out in the latter half of the episode

Maya is off the hook... For now! With the end of the first day of trials, greenhorn defense attorney Phoenix Wright and neophyte acolyte Maya Fey have 24 hours to make the most of the court's reasonable doubt! A mysterious man had been staying with the key witness, and it's time to find out who it is! Dramatic backstories! Shocking revelations! A smiling sociopath! And... Far too much discussion of offices?

Abby and Meesh are here to finish what they started with the second half of their coverage of Case 1-2 Turnabout Sisters! Wait... Or are they covering the critically acclaimed Season 3 Episode 2 of the hit television show, Colombo? Uh oh, I gotta check my notes...
