    Soccer star, Hiawatha First Nation resident, and Thomas A Stewart graduate Rebecca Bartosh is our guest on episode seven. Rebecca, or Becca as her friends call her, relives her glory days a child soccer star in Virginia before moving to Hiawatha First Nation in 2016. Upon arriving to the area, she immediately makes an impact in the soccer community at TAS and the GTA as a member of the Division One Women's League team Toronto Blizzard. Rebecca also details her experience as a two-time participant of the North American Indigenous Games, as well as what can be done to provide more opportunity and exposure to Indigenous athletes. Producer Peers is allowed back to ask questions and allows us to gain some insight into the strong family influences and support that have allowed Rebecca to achieve so much. Rebecca outlines her future plans for soccer and eventually a career in law enforcement when her playing days are over, but is she able to recall the role she played as a member of her high school mock trial team? We gain some insight into how John became the first player granted exceptional player status by the Ontario Hockey League, and what it was like to be named captain of the most recognized and popular hockey team in Canada, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
