In 1911, a small town in Oregon, the Hill family are murdered with no trace of the offender. Evidence was left however they were unable to pin the crime to anyone. They had there hosts of suspects but they were cleared. This yet another folklore of axe murders.

On June 10, 1912, a vicious and bloody murder claimed the lives of a family of eight and their young guests. This murder is one of the worst axe murders ever committed. There were suspects but later were found not guilty. The home today still stands as a tour for fans. There are still people who wonder who hacked up the Moore family.
