Join us for D20 Date Night: Discussions, where we take a look at a beloved Disney movie through the lens of Dungeons and Dragons. We'll identify the main characters and discuss which class(es) fits each best. We'll review the overall goal(s) of the adventuring party, as well as the setbacks they encounter. In our fifth episode, we will discuss Sleeping Beauty. We'll examine their interactions with different NPCs and how these advance the story, and we will analyze the overall conflict and final resolution of the film. We'll cover the encounters, whether those are combat, role-playing, or problem-solving. And, of course, we'll spend some time on any quest rewards or magical items that make an appearance. In Episode 5, we focus on the 1959 animated film, Sleeping Beauty. This film tells the story of Princess Aurora. The curse is cast…the magic is real…and one kiss will change everything! Fall under the spell of Sleeping Beauty, the ultimate princess fairy tale that is now part of the acclaimed Walt Disney Signature Collection. Beauty, wonder and thrilling adventure spin together in a grand legend that transcends time as the evil and jealous fairy Maleficent, one of imagination’s most spectacular villains, casts a curse on the kingdom’s beloved Princess Aurora.
