We are Melanie & Lou Bourbeau, entrepreneurs and parents to young adults who all living on their own now. We spent so much of our time either working to pay the bills and keep our heads above water or not having the money to do the fun things we wanted to do with our kids. We feel like we missed out on so much valuable time with them and now want to be much more present for our future grandchildren (God willing ;) After seeing what was sacrificed and still living paycheck to paycheck, we knew something needed to change, especially since my husband can no longer work in carpentry due to his bad back.
