  • 3: How a love for data-driven storytelling created a rare digital marketing expert
    Mar 28 2022

Data is part of all areas of our lives and when we leverage that data to make informed decisions it can change the way we think.  One area where data-driven storytelling is often overlooked is in brand and marketing.  Digital marketing involves a lot of data but when we leverage that data to tell the story of our brand, it elevates the message and enables the cultivation of long-term relationships.  Anebi brings an intriguing story of learning data through a rare mentor then using data for cybersecurity then transforming data into stories for his brand and digital marketing company.  The underpinning of all his roles lies in his love of data and his passion for creating a data-driven story that informs decisions.

Anebi Agbo came to the United States with a love for technology and a drive for change. He started his career in data and analytics with a passion for building a story for customers.  He later moved into cybersecurity where he was able to apply this love of data-driven storytelling to large datasets in his work for American Express. Through his journey, Anebi learned the importance of telling a data-driven story in all areas of business. He saw that too many big ideas didn’t show up as imagined, and too many paying clients got less than they deserved. This brought him to leave the corporate biz to start his agency at the height of the pandemic.

With his vast experience in data & analytics, Anebi knew there was a better way to showcase clients’ products & services while also achieving results on time & budget. He is the Founder and Chief Strategist at Eikon Labs where he and his team of 10+, across key time zones, create beautiful data-driven designs for small businesses - 24x7. Eikon Labs focuses on Product Strategy, UX Design, UI Design, Product Design, Visual Design, and Web flow Development.
