• BLESSED | Part 4 | A Grateful Heart | Michelle Snook
    Dec 3 2025

It's turkey time! Or, maybe in your household it's ham or prime rib, or maybe enchiladas or pizza. Whatever you eat, wherever you are, whoever you're with, I hope your heart is filled with gratitude. And speaking of gratitude, what are you grateful for this year? The answer to that question is often linked to people we love, things we have, or memories we've made. And we should absolutely be grateful for all of those people, things and memories. But I also think there's more... This week, we'll be wrapping up our series, BLESSED: Living a Life God Blesses. Throughout this series, we've looked at different postures of the heart that invite God's blessing in our lives and reflect His nature through our lives. This week we're looking at the posture of gratitude. It's easy to be grateful when life is good. But how about when loss, pain, or difficulty weigh you down? Gratitude must be grounded in the goodness and faithfulness of God - regardless of changing circumstances. I invite you to join us this Sunday at 11 AM. You'll find us online by clicking the "Join Us Sunday" button on our website or connect with us via our YouTube channel. Or come worship with us in person! Enjoy coffee, cookies and conversation in our Lobby before the service. We would love to connect with you! We do know that 11 AM on Sunday doesn't work for everyone. If that's you, the service will be available on-demand, so you can watch at a time that works better for your schedule. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

  • BLESSED | Part 3 | A Generous Heart | Chris Voigt
    Nov 25 2025

When my friend turned 30, her parents began a tradition of celebrating that milestone birthday with an extended family gathering at a resort or vacation home somewhere. That year, her celebration was held at a resort on the Oregon coast. Growing up on the east side of the Cascades, she didn't vacation at the coast. Why drive that far when there were lakes and campgrounds galore in her own backyard? The accommodations for the birthday weekend were beachfront with a deck on the west side- perfect for watching whales and sunsets. It was also the perfect perch for seagulls... who somehow sensed that this particular gaggle of guests were clueless when it came to knowing the appropriate protocols for engaging with coastal wildlife. They were familiar with campground wisdom about securing coolers and food supplies from bears. But seagulls seemed harmless... why not toss them a bit of pancake or two? Within seconds, it was like the seagull scene in Finding Nemo. They were being dive bombed by scores of greedy gulls, all squawking for their own precious piece of pancake! We are in week three of our series, BLESSED: Living a Life God Blesses. Throughout this series, we're looking at four postures of the heart that invite God's blessing in our lives and reflect His nature through our lives. This week we're looking at the posture of generosity. Sharing doesn't come naturally - it has to be taught. But as we'll discover God's blessing in our lives was never intended to just be for us, but to be for others, through us. I invite you to join us this Sunday at 11 AM. You'll find us online by clicking the "Join Us Sunday" button on our website or connect with us via our YouTube channel. Or come worship with us in person! Enjoy coffee, cookies and conversation in our seagull-free Lobby before the service. We would love to connect with you! We do know that 11 AM on Sunday doesn't work for everyone. If that's you, the service will be available on-demand, so you can watch at a time that works better for your schedule.

  • BLESSED | Part 2 | When Love Says Yes | Chris Voigt
    Nov 19 2025

"Children, obey your parents in all things; for this is well pleasing unto the Lord." Colossians 3:20 It was one of the first verses I memorized as a child. And it was quoted often around our house, with emphasis on the word 'obey.' I know the intention was good, but somehow the message my young heart received was more about performance and perfection. But obedience isn't merely about following rules, it's about building relationship and trust; about learning to live in step with God and His design for our lives. This is week two of our series, BLESSED: Living a Life God Blesses. • BLESSED | Part 1 | A Heart God Can Bless | Chris Voigt
    Nov 12 2025

Blessed. It seems to be the new catchword. You see it and hear it all the time. And while Scripture does tell us that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father, I wonder if somehow we've misunderstood what it means to be 'blessed.' Over the next four weeks, we're going to unpack what it means to live a life that God blesses. Because being blessed is about more than good circumstances, good fortune, or good deals on more stuff. In fact, blessing isn't necessarily about any of those things at all! You'll find us online by clicking the "Join Us Sunday" button on our website or connect with us via our YouTube channel. • Identity Crisis | Part 8 | When the Soul Finds Its Source | Chris Voigt
    Nov 5 2025

Being thirsty is a signal; it's your body's way of telling your brain that you need water. Water is essential for over a dozen major bodily functions - essential processes that keep your body breathing, moving, and functioning properly. Your body is designed to require water. Over the past couple of months, we've been looking at a different - and equally essential - thirst that we experience as humans... soul thirst. God designed our souls to thirst for Him. Every decision we make, every action we take, every thought we think or word we speak is intended to be inhabited by His presence. To ensure that we would seek Him as our source for life, He infused us with deep longings; our souls are designed to be filled by Him. And as we are filled, we are able to pour out into the lives of others... freely, generously, spontaneously, joyfully. • Identity Crisis | Part 7 | Security Through Surrender | Jon Sprouse
    Oct 29 2025

"Back in the old days..." These days, I'm becoming one of those who grew up in the old days! In the 'old days' we rode around town in the bed of grandpa's truck, rode our bikes, scooters, and skateboards with no helmets, elbow or knee pads; we drank right out of the garden hose, and went on family road trips without even thinking about wearing a seat belt. Those things and so many more would be considered 'unsafe' or even illegal today! We are a culture that has become obsessed with safety. We deadbolt our doors, have locks on our mailboxes, and cameras on every corner. But try as we might to ensure our own security, nothing is absolutely foolproof. And yet, we long to know that everything is going to be okay; that we are safe. Come join us this Sunday at 11 AM as we unpack what God's Word says about security. We are wired by God to desire safety. But the kind of security He offers is a whole different kind. One that can't be hacked, never needs to be updated, and will never fail. You'll find us online by clicking the "Join Us Sunday" button on our website or connect with us via our YouTube channel. Or come worship with us in person! Enjoy coffee, cookies and conversation in the Lobby before the service. We would love to connect with you! We do know that 11 AM on Sunday doesn't work for everyone. • Identity Crisis | Part 6 | Made for Significance | Michelle Snook
    Oct 29 2025

According to dictionary.com, the definition of 'significance' is the quality of being worthy of attention. Every person is imbued with a God-given thirst for significance. We long to know that not only are we worthy of attention, but that we have purpose, we make a difference, that we matter. Our culture tells us that popularity and influence are the measuring sticks by which our worthiness is assessed. But the Bible tells us that our worth was established before we even had a name. That our purpose was ordained by God before we took our first breath. Significance isn't something you earn; it's something you already have.

  • Identity Crisis | Part 5 | ENOUGH: Finding Satisfaction in the Bread of Life | Chris Voigt
    Oct 14 2025

"I can't get no satisfaction. Gonna try and I try and I try..." Those lyrics were written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards back in 1965. And from what little I know about their lives, I'm not sure they ever found it. There is a hunger in the soul of every person that demands to be satisfied. And there are a myriad of options that humanity has used to attempt to fill the void. It might be food, shopping, adrenaline, busyness, or any number of other things. But our satisfaction strategy is faulty. Because we're not really hungry for a what... what the soul longs for is a Who. And only He will ever completely, fully, utterly satisfy that hunger within.
