Dead Children's Playground

  • Summary

  • Alabama, a southeast state in the United States known for sweet tea and college football. Nicknamed the Yellowhammer State, it got its name from the Alabama River which was named by an Indian tribe called the Alabamas or Alibamons. Just like its beloved football team, Alabama has a crimson past. The first few years of the 2020’s has ravaged the world with COVID-19, but the same can be said a century ago when the Spanish flu made its way to this state. Many people died including children and locals claimed that their spirits still remain in a place the locals named: The Dead Children’s Playground. RESOURCES 1. Cool Kid Facts. (2021, October 7).
