Disaffected

By: disaffected
  • Summary

  • Four years ago, I woke from a spell that I had been under since childhood. After decades of torment, I recognized my mother for what she truly was: a personality-disordered abuser. She wasn't the victim she had always claimed to be. Then I saw the same behavior and abuse tactics being adopted and applauded by the social justice left.

—Law schools are turning out incompetent lawyers. One of our best medical schools now has 51 percent of its residents failing basic medical knowledge tests.

—Some states are passing laws requiring us to label convicted criminals as "justice-impacted individuals", reversing the morality of the criminal-victim paradigm. Worst of all, we've failed the youngest generation and set them loose on the world without what we used to call any "home training." If we think it's bad now, what will it look like in 20 years?

—Psychoanalyst Dr. Lucas Klein joins us to dive into the motivations behind a new NBC "documentary" coming out called "Queer Planet." The show's trailer features a bunch of bluehairs talking about clownfish and how "having two sexes is clearly out of style." What's really going on in their psyches? —Bringin' da hood up in da house! Jasmine Crockett, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Marjorie Taylor Greene have a bitch throw-down in the House and we're gonna call it like a baseball game.

-Race 2 Retardation: a 23-year-old black Marine from Maine was arrested and charged with attempted murder after law enforcement discovered his plans. The suspect's notes described a years-long plan to collect high-powered guns and mow down as many white people as possible at a gym or a grocery store. Also, three white teens won a lawsuit against their Bay Area high school that expelled them for wearing an acne face mask, which the school called "blackface."

-Potpourri du Moquerie! We've got German politicians licking urinals on video, beached female whales on the cover of Sports Illustrated, born-of-a-jackal trans demon girls who can't name parts of speech, and histrionic homos too dumb to figure out that their "two moms" sleep in the same bed because they're lesbians. Allons y!

"The Personal is Political": Very, very political.

What do you do when the entire world's politics start to repeat the dynamics that created your nightmarish childhood?

What do you do when a new crop of "influencers" -- political, social, aesthetic -- seem to share pathological traits enabled by social media structures and strictures?

If you're like a lot of people, you retreat. You try to keep your own house, your own family, outside the madness. Or perhaps you believe it is you who are going mad.

And then there's Josh. After growing up in a house where Cluster B reigned supreme, he's got something to say, and he doesn't care if you think he has "issues." Like many Americans, I'm tired of pretending that our broken family dynamics aren't impacting our broader social and political dynamics, and Josh gives that frustration a voice and a compelling cri de coeur.

If you're made easily uncomfortable, or if you watch out for a lot of sacred cows and need your podcasts to repeat your preferred shibboleths -- left or right -- don't bother tuning in. This isn't for you. But if you've started to feel like you're howling in the wilderness about the ways influence is manufactured and peddled in our world today, you're the right kind of person to get a lot out of Disaffected.
