Romans 8:19-21

You may have heard of a war movie from the 1940"s called, "God is My Co-Pilot". Bur if you think that God is just your co-pilot, perhaps you need to switch seats! God is the sovereign Lord of the universe and rules over every aspect of His creation. Have you submitted to His Lordship and sovereignty, and handed over the controls of your life to Him? Romans 8:18

A woman is willing to undergo nine months of increasing physical discomfort and several hours of painful labor in order to give birth. Looking ahead to the years of happiness she will experience with her child helps her to look beyond her temporary physical suffering. You can face earthly sorrows and suffering with peace and joy when you fix your heart and mind on the eternal glory that God has prepared for you. Romans 8:17

When Jesus walked on the water, his disciples were terrified at first because they thought he was a ghost. What they thought was a threat to their well-being was actually Jesus coming to give them a great blessing.
