  • In May of 2011, Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a neurosurgeon fresh out of his residency from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, moved to Dallas, Texas. During the next 2 years, Dr. Duntsch performed surgery on 38 patients. During Dr. Duntsch's surgical spree, he left 31 of his patients paralyzed or seriously injured and 2 of them dead.
