Dr Perl is the Director of the CNRM Brain Tissue Repository. **The U.S. Department of Defense has established a brain tissue repository as an important resource to advance traumatic brain injury research.**Comparing injured and uninjured brain tissue will allow scientists and physicians to learn ways to prevent and possibly treat the effects of this injury.
