Ervin found the Union Gospel Mission online after suffering profound losses in his family. He was worried about feeling lonely within the program especially after losing his twin brother but when he arrived at the community with other veterans he was lifted up. Not only were his basic needs met but was also provided with a path to his own housing, he has now been there for three months.
