  • Alternative Education
    Feb 14 2022

Alternative education seems like it means any form of education that does not mean sitting in a classroom for 8 hours staring at the clock. It can involve outdoor education, where students go on hikes to learn about the natural world, movement education, learning done through dance and song. Or most recently inquiry based learning which favours hands on experimental learning over tests and rote memorisation. Alternative education has been a large part of our lives from participating in wilderness programs to schools in foreign countries so it's one we have always been fascinated by. So today we take a longer look at some popular forms of alternative education (waldorf, homeschooling) and how they are working out.
